Belcourt’s Ryan Keplin will wrap up Music in the Park season on Aug. 18

He's called the, "Fiddlin Lefty", but Ryan Keplin's musical talents extend beyond a fiddle.

Audiences of Rugby's Lions Club's Music in the Park series will see that this week when the Belcourt performer closes out the 15th concert season on Wednesday, Aug. 18.

Keplin has been performing since he was a teen and has recorded four fiddle albums. He performs all over the country and into Canada, often playing at festivals and fiddle contests where he's receive awards for his unique style.

It's rare to see a left-handed fiddler, and that's how he obtained his stage name.

However, he is gifted with other instruments including guitar, mandolin and drums.

The concert begins at 7 p.m. at Ellery Park. In case of inclement weather, tune into Rugby's KZZJ 1450 AM for an alternate location.
