Four have filed for county offices

Four residents, including three incumbents have filed to run in Pierce County elections later this year, according to Karin Fursather, county auditor and election manager.

District One Pierce County Commissioner Joe Bohl is seeking a second term. District Five commissioner David Migler is seeking his third term.

County Recorder Lori Miron has also filed for that office. David Anderson has filed to run for Garrison Conservancy District. Long-time officeholder Leroy Johnson, recently announced he would not seek another term.

The deadline to to file to be placed on the ballot for county offices is by 4 p.m. on April 9.

The offices up for election at the primary in June and general election in November include: clerk of court, county recorder, states attorney, sheriff, Garrison Conservancy District; and District 1, 3 and 5 county commission seats. All terms are four years.
