Dine with your valentine

Looking for someplace to dine with your valentine? There are plenty of choices for you and your sweetheart in Rugby and the surrounding area.

Suppers on Saturday, Feb. 13

In Rugby, there are several places offering special meals on Saturday, Feb. 13.

Everyone is welcome at the American Legion Valentine's dinner startng at 6 p.m. at the Memorial Hall.

Bob's Pizza Inn will have a special Valentine's buffet featuring prime rib, scampi, ham, turkey, jumbo fried shrimp and more. Plus, there will be wine tasting of Dakota Hills Winery products.

They're open late from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Coffee Cottage for a candlelight supper. The menu inlcudes:?steak, lobster, shrimp scampi, fried shrimp, king crab, and chicken breast in white sauce.

Enjoy the evening at the Rugby Eagles Club. The fun starts at 5 p.m. with a steak fry until 8 p.m. There will also be special BINGO?games from 8 to 9 p.m. Then from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., dance to music provided by PSK?Entertainment.

In Leeds and Wolford

Take a short drive to Leeds for a special Valentine's supper at the Leeds Community Center from 5:30 to 9 p.m.. The meal is served by KJ's Bar and includes a choice of steak, lobster, chicken or shrimp fettuccine, shrimp, or filet mignon. There is also a kid's menu available. And the night doesn't end there. Go on over to KJ's Bar for a dance from 9:30 to 2 a.m. with R&R?entertainment.

In Wolford, enjoy Daryl's grilled ribeye and shrimp at the Corrigidor Bar's special valentine's candelight dinner.

Let the Heart of America Medical Center Auxiliary deliver a special message for you.

Send a singing valentine to your loved one or friend on Friday, Feb. 12. Cost is $10 and each person will also receive a plate of cookies.

Call 776-5455, ext. 2315 by Wedneday, Feb. 10 to reserve a time.

The Northern Equipment Relay for Life team is selling valentine bags filled with candy kisses and other treats for $3. They will deliver them to anyone in Rugby on Friday, Feb. 12. Call Terri at 776-5274 (days) or 776-6228 (evenings) by Wednesday, Feb. 10 to place your order.
