Pierce County Spelling Bee set

Pierce County will conduct its annual junior high and grade school spelling bees on Wednesday, Feb. 24, both beginning at 4 p.m.

The J.H. bee will be held at Rugby Jr.-Sr. High Library.The top seventh and eighth grade spellers from Rugby and Wolford schools will be competing in a test of written and oral spelling ability for the opportunity to represent Pierce County at the 2010 State Spelling Bee in Bismarck on March 26.

The grade school bee will be held at Ely Elementary. The top spellers in grades three thru six from Wolford, Little Flower and Ely schools will compete in both oral and written categories.
