The high school volleyball season is seven months away, but Jessica (Schneider) Fritz is already looking forward to it.

Last week Fritz was hired as Rugby's next varsity coach. She replaces Brenda Olsen, who resigned last month after five seasons as varsity coach.

Fritz has coaching experience, spending four seasons at St. John prior to coming to Rugby.

The past three seasons she has been assistng in the junior high program. Jessica, who is a teacher at Ely Elementary, is excited about getting the opportunity to again coach at the varsity level.
