We appreciated the opportunity to meet with the county commissioners several weeks ago.

The commissioners were gracious enough to meet with us unannounced. They allowed us to speak to them about their decision to have some county offices appointed rather than elected. We had a discussion and the county commissioners were cordial and urbane throughout the meeting, in spite of the lateness of our coming forward.

The outcome aside, there is no doubt in my mind that they are some of the most able commissioners I have dealt with through the years and I want to thank them publicly.
