What's happening here?

Bird hunters in the area are out in full force, with deer hunting to begin Nov. 4. Row crop harvest is just being completed since planting was later this year. The season produced average crops from the fields that were dry enough to plant last spring. Heart of America Medical Center is doing very well with its combined medical campus and an additional doctor who joined the staff last year. The Correctional and Treatment Center stays full and is self sufficient, no longer needing county funds. The Rugby Boys Cross Country Team earned a State Championship with the girls bringing home third place. Girls volleyball is in district play this week. Football in most of the area is done. Chuck Repnow has joined the staff of the Tribune as advertising executive. Snowbirds have left or are in the process of going to warmer climates for the winter. We miss the snowbirds but know they will be back in the spring.
